As autumn seeps into the Melbourne air, a certain excitement begins. Melbourne Fashion Festival has taken hold of the city. Formally sponsored by L'Oreal, this year Virgin Australia is at the helm, and curiosity is evident with all the Fashion Festival veterans. One could say that we, the girls of GLO TATTS are part of this dedicated following, having not missed a single year at this event since relocating from Byron Bay over 8 years ago. Despite world travel, starting families and busy schedules, somehow we find ourselves submitting to the pull of the mainstream consumer
Theres something to be said of putting your thumb to the pulse of mass trend setting, and surprising ourselves with what we like and don't. Admittedly we go to these festivals not for what the designers immaculately present to us on stage, but for how the everyday pedestrian interprets their story. The excitement is before and after the shows. It is an endless pool of inspiration for us, personally and professionally.
We were on the ground last night for Runway 1 presented by Miss Vogue, taking it all in. We managed to snap a few shots to share with our GLO TATTS followers
